Sales Advisor Vacancy

Job role: Sales Advisor

Location: Oldbury, West Midlands

Hours: 40 hours per week, 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with a 40 minute break, however there will be a requirement to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business. Weekends are based on a rota system which includes a Saturday shift. There will also be the need to attend trade fairs and open evenings throughout the year.

The ideal candidate will need to have an understanding of motor vehicle mechanics and have worked in a sales and customer service role previously within the automotive industry.

You will work with a  dedicated team providing excellent customer service at all times. You will take and process orders through various communication channels in a highly professional and polite manner. You will also build strong relationships with internal departments in order to undertake your job role effectively and efficiently.

This is a very hands on role and you will be expected to liaise with customers through all communications channels including face to face, telephone and email, so excellent interpersonal skills are required.

DMG Classic Mini Open Evening 2017

Well it may have been the wettest year yet for our Classic Mini Open Evening but that didn’t stop brave Mini drivers and enthusiasts alike turning up for another fantastic Mini meet at the David Manners Group Headquarters

We had some absolutely gorgeous cars on show, including a Police Mini complete with siren! And below you can also see the lovely winner of our Most Loved Mini competition, Mario! Congratulations to Francesca, who won 2 tickets to Bingley Hall Mini Fair, a subscription to Mini Magazine, and trade discount for the rest of the year. We were also blown away by the winners of our Furthest Travelled Mini, who came all the way from Herne Bay in Kent!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the British Mini Club, Footman James, DuCafe, and Helen Pearson our singer for the night, for helping make the evening such a success.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

#GoGlenys Project Update: Glenys gets a paint job!

We were very excited to visit Fuzz over at To-Ta Classics last week and discover that Glenys has now been painted! Doesn’t she look great?! We hope you all agree that we made the right choice in keeping her original colour.


Don’t forget, you can buy a raffle ticket for your chance of winning Glenys for just £2 from our JustGiving page! All the proceeds from the raffle are being donated directly to the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove, who provide care & support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, in North East Worcestershire.

So far the project has raised almost £3000; this is a fantastic amount and we are incredibly grateful for all the support we have been shown so far! The raffle will be drawn on 25th November at the Primrose Christmas Fayre – good luck to everybody who has already entered!

Classic Mini Open Evening 2017

Mini Spares Midlands, part of the David Manners Group based in Oldbury, are once again hosting their annual Classic Mini Open Evening on Tuesday 11th July. Owners and enthusiasts alike are invited to what promises to be another fantastic event. 
With a special guest appearance from Car SOS presenter and classic car lover Fuzz Townshend, attendees will have the opportunity to ask their burning restoration questions. The DMG Mini Experts will also be on hand throughout the night to offer help and advice on all things Mini. DMG are also offering trade discount on all Mini parts bought on the night. 

Although the event is held to coincide with the British Mini Club meet the event still attracts (and welcomes) non-members; Dave Hollis from the British Mini Club will be on hand to provide information on the club and assist visitors with signing up. 
Classic Car Insurers Footman James will also be on hand to offer handy tips & advice on insuring your Classic Mini.

Wood-fired Neapolitan style pizzas will once again be provided by Baked in Brick, cooked out of a converted Mini, alongside delicious home made cakes and hot drinks provided by DuCafe. There’s even a free drink on offer for the first fifty guests to arrive! 
There will be prizes awarded on the night for The Most Loved Mini, the Mini Most In Need Of Love, and the Furthest Travelled Mini. Prizes include tickets to upcoming Mini shows and subscriptions to Classic Car publications. 

The event takes place at the David Manners Group headquarters, 991 Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, B69 4RJ from 6pm on Tuesday 11th July. Entry is free, and there is also a free drinks voucher on offer for the first fifty guests to arrive.

DMG Moggy Day 2017

Thank you to everybody who braved the rain on Saturday to attend our Morris Minor Open Day! We hope you all bagged yourself some great deals and made some new friends! We were delighted by the turnout, especially given the weather, and we look forward to seeing even more of you there next year.


Local band Bleeding Hearts did a fantastic job keeping everybody entertained, and we once again enjoyed some delicious homemade cakes & hot drinks from DuCafe. We also had Footman James on hand to provide help & advice on classic car insurance.

As always, the weather could definitely have been better, but we did see a few spells of sunshine in between the showers!
